Another12 Ministries was formed in response to a significant need recognized within the church. The ministry’s origins trace back to a group of leaders who worked together to guide a group of high school boys within the local church. A shared love for the Scriptures and a deep commitment to discipling students shaped their partnership. Over time, the need for extensive small-group leader training within the church became increasingly clear. Sensing a clear call from God, they undertook the work that would eventually develop into Another12 Ministries. We bring a strong understanding of youth-group and small-group ministry, a comprehensive vision for training small-group leaders, and a passion to see people of every age come to faith and carry the Gospel to their peers.
What began as a passion for youth ministry has grown into a broader commitment to equipping small group leaders who serve individuals of all ages.
Core Beliefs
As a ministry, we hold certain core beliefs which we deem to be essential. Our goal is to advance the Kingdom of Jesus across denominations, over boarders, between cultures, and around all obstacles. To maintain an unwavering focus on the goal and to chart an undeterred path to achieving our calling, we have defined several core beliefs to prevent us from losing our way in this often-turbulent world. With our eyes fixed firmly on Jesus, we press on towards our calling.
One True God
There is only one true God, who created all things and is sovereign over all things. He exists in three distinct persons who are of the same substance and are co-equal, each possessing within themselves the full being of God.
Depravity of Man
Though created in a sinless state, man, through sinful rebellion against God, fell from his position and has earned eternal death as a result of his sin. Man’s heart is depraved, leaving man utterly without hope of redemption apart from the unilateral work of Jesus Christ on the cross, the abundant mercy of God the Father, and the resurrection work of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man through divine incarnation. He was sent by God the Father to come to earth. Jesus willingly emptied Himself and humbled Himself, taking on human form and being obedient to the will of the Father, even to the point of death on the cross. He lived a sinless life, died in the place of sinners, is the propitiation for man’s sin, and rose again in glory to be seated at the right hand of God.
The Bible
The Bible, with its sixty-six books, is the inspired and inerrant Word of God given to mankind. The Bible was written by men who were moved and inspired by the Holy Spirit, and the words which they have written, being influenced by their experience, education, and personality, were also supernaturally guided by the Holy Spirit. The result is that the Scriptures contain the exact words that God intended to communicate to mankind.
Salvation
Salvation from eternal death is the gift of God, accomplished through the work of His Son, Jesus Christ. This gift is given to men by God and cannot be earned or obtained by any work or piety which man can devise. Salvation manifests itself as a result of the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of a person and brings about repentance, salvation, sanctification, and adoption.
The Church
The Church is the family of believers on earth. The Church's mission is to be faithful witnesses of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples of new believers and carrying the message of hope to the entire world. The Church gathers together at regular intervals to worship God together, partake of the Lord’s Supper, and fellowship together.
Heaven
Heaven is a real place where those who have been adopted into the family of God will dwell with Him forever in eternal bliss and security.
Hell
Hell is a real place where those who have not received God’s gift of salvation will be consigned to eternal torment, punishment, and eternal separation from God.
